Surface Finishes

A&G Fabrications range of aluminium louvres are available in three types of finishes to satisfy your finishing needs.

1. Powdercoating
2. Eurocote - Woodgrain Powdercoat Finish
3. Anodising

Powdercoating

Powdercoating is the most readily available and commonly used coating system as it doesn't chip and flake like conventional paint.

It is cheaper and is a safer option because there are no liquid paints, solvents or fumes and requires no drying or layering.

Powdercoating offers a wide range of colours and colour consistency. At A&G we offer a pallette of off-the-shelf colours as well as a custom colour matching service to better suit your needs.

A variety of metallic and pearlescent finishes are also available.

UV resistant finishes protect the aluminium and are easy to maintain. Depending on the specifications and requirements of the installation, warranties are offered and range from 5 years to 15 years.

Woodgrain Powdercoat Finish

This unique European designed powder coating system is a top quality premium wood grain finish that looks just like the real thing.

There are a variety of warm mellow wood grain textures to choose from that will suit all types of aluminium louvres and sunscreens.

For a strong durable and maintenance free finish, timber woodgrain powdercoating is the answer.

Anodising

Anodising is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of the aluminium.

This process increases corrosion resistance and surface hardness. It has been proven to be a very durable finish, the lifetime of which being dependant on the thickness, density and seal quality of the anodic film.

The colours available are typically of a deep metallic lustre, a common choice being matt natural or a silver anodised finish.
